Chiropractic Care is designed to look at the alignment of the body and especially the spine, although Chiroprators can analyze any joint in the body. What we are looking for is any “mis-alignment” or restriction in movement. Often times postural stresses, trauma (such as whiplash), poor sleeping positions, or day to day stresses can cause stiffness, pain and poor alignment to occur.
Chiropractors specialize in restoring the body to better alignment, improving movement, and reducing pain. Studies show that this type of care can also improve a persons’ overall quality of life enhancing both physical vitality and mental well-being.
On your first visit, the Doctor will sit with you to go over your health concerns while taking a thorough medical history. Then, a clinical examination will be done to determine whether Chiropractic Care is viable for your concerns. Radiographs will only be done if necessary. If appropriate, care can start on the very first visit.
There are many different approaches that Chiropractors may take to help you.
